You may already have your own approach or framework for how you deliver digital inclusion support. If you don't, we recommend Simon Community Scotland's 'Get Connected' framework.

The Get Connected Framework was produced by Simon Community alongside the people they support and frontline workers. There are five main categories:

  • Communicating

  • Finding Information

  • Managing Finances

  • Entertainment and Learning

  • Health

These resources are now delivered via the . This app brings together links to resources, apps, tools and websites which are useful and relevant to experiencing or risk of homelessness, and for people who are using drugs too. It is pre-installed onto devices by Digital Champions to enable self-directed learning when handed over to participants in the programme.

Get Connected is a 'progressive web app'. This means you can click and follow the link on a browser on your device. You can then save it to your home screen and it will operate like any other app.
